YOU WERE MY CRUSH! by Durjoy Datta, Orvana Ghai, Book Review

You Were My Crush!...till you said you love me!You Were My Crush!...till you said you love me! by Durjoy Datta

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

First of all I hate durjoy.. His book "Oh yes, I am single" sucks big time.. This book was given to me by my friend. Even though I had no interest in reading Durjoy stuff, I read it.

I was expecting not so interesting thing about this book, but as I read on, the story got very interesting.. Actually I pretty much liked it. It was not as bad as I thought it would be..

The story circles around Benoy Roy (probably, the hero of the story), who lost his mom due to cancer, who was devorced to her husband.. No family.. His best friend, hates him.. No best friend.. His love hates him more than anything.. No love.. In short, Benoy's life is totally f**ked up.. This is story of a boy who is trying to pick up the pieces of his life..

Worth a read.. Good for time pass..

THE MOTORCYCLE DIARIES by Che Guevara, Book Review

The Motorcycle DiariesThe Motorcycle Diaries by Che Guevara

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It is AMAZING!!

When you are reading this book, you feel like you travelling with guevara and alberto.

The way guevara describes his journey is marvellous, a incredible journey with a humourous touch. Before I read this book, I have no idea who is Che Guevara and I also thought that he was a pop singer. Now I started liking him.

The very idea of travelling -and hiking- around a continent and taking in all the spiritual learnings from the nature is very exciting.

It is worth reading 100 times!!

Like said by Christopher McCandless, "The very core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure"...

OHH YES, I AM SINGLE..! by Durjoy Datta &Neeti Rustagi, Book Review

Ohh Yes I am Single...!: and So is My GirlfriendOhh Yes I am Single...!: and So is My Girlfriend by Durjoy Datta

My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I heard a lot of good comments about the authors.. This is the first of his books I am reading...

Damn, I hate it.. And now I hate the author too..

This is a tale narrated by the hero, named after one of the authors, about his first crush, first kiss, first love, first sex, first first........

These are all personal things, who in his right mind want to know all these?? Pure waste of time!!

ANGELS & DEMONS by Dan Brown, Book Review

Angels & DemonsAngels & Demons by Dan Brown

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I first read, The Da vinci code... Thinking that it was the first book.. But later foudn out that Angels and Demons as the first one..

As per the story, it is not necessary to read the books in the order, but for the thrill it is damn important to read them in order..

The second book, The Da vinci code, is better than this one, but this one is very interesting too.. I recommend everyone to read this one first and then da vinci code... They are a must read..

There is nothing interesting I could say about the book, it a MUST MUST MUST read!!!

Hope to read the third one soon..

THE DIARY OF A YOUNG GIRL by Anne Frank, Book Review

The Diary of a Young GirlThe Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

To say frankly, I didnt really read the whole book.. I skipped few chapters.. It is a very slow story.. I got bored very often..

But Anne frank's account of the changes wrought upon eight people hiding out from the Nazis for two years during the occupation of Holland, living in constant fear and isolation, imprisoned not only by the terrible outward circumstances of prisoned not only by the terrible outward circumstances of war but inwardly but themselves, made me intimately and shockinly aware of war's greatest evil-the degradation of the human spirit...

It is very amazing this diary belongs to a young girl-probably of age 14... For a patient reader, this one is a must read..

Hats off to Anne Frank!!
